To access certain areas of the Site you may be required to register with us. In completing the registration process you must provide us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You may also be required to choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by us or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.
Each employment assignment or placement arising as a result of an introduction made by us will be subject to our standard Terms of Business as they are applicable in the circumstances.
You will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. You may not use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information on the Site is accurate and complete, some of the information is supplied to us by third parties and we are not able to check the accuracy or completeness of that information. . We do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on the Site or any liability in respect of information on the Site supplied by you, any other site user or any other person.
You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to the Site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to the Site. We reserve the right to remove any information supplied by you from the Site at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation.
We will process any data which you provide in completing the online registration or application forms and any further forms, assessments or personal details which you complete or provide to us when using the Site in accordance with UK data protection legislation. On the Site you may from time to time be offered links to other sites which we hope will be of interest to you. We do not accept any responsibility for or liability in respect of the content of those sites, the owners of which do not necessarily have any connection, commercial or otherwise, with us. The rights in material on the Site are protected by international copyright, software and trademark laws and you agree to use the Site in a way which does not infringe these rights. You may copy material on the Site for your own private or domestic purposes, but copying for any commercial or business use is not permitted.
We may terminate your registration and/or deny you access to the Site or any part of it (including any services, goods or information available on or through the Site) at any time in our absolute discretion and without any explanation or notification.
The use of the Site and any agreements entered into through the Site are to be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site or any agreement made through the Site.
If any provision of these terms of access is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Access may be changed by us at any time. You will be deemed to accept the Terms of Access (as amended) when you next use the Site following any amendment.
1. The prize draw (the "Prize Draw") is open to people aged 18 and over who provide their name, telephone number and email address.
2. LogicMelon employees may not enter the prize draw.
3. The prize draw is only open to new LogicMelon customers. Current LogicMelon customers that submit their details will not be included in the prize draw. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every email that we send.
4. By submitting your details to enter this competition, you agree to LogicMelon using these details to contact you in relation to LogicMelon services and products.
5. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
6. To enter the Prize Draw you must submit your name, telephone number and email address. No purchase is necessary.
7. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
8. LogicMelon accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by LogicMelon.
9. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place by 28th February 2019.
10. The winner will receive either a beer hamper (for men) or a gin hamper (for women).
11. The winner will be notified by telephone call or email on or before 28th February 2019 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to LogicMelon within 14 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited and LogicMelon shall be entitled to select another winner.
12. The prize will be sent to the winner by LogicMelon by post.
13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
14. LogicMelon retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
15. The winner’s name will be announced via social media and entry into this competition confirms the winner’s consent for their name to be used in this way.
16. LogicMelon shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 4 above.
17. LogicMelon accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. LogicMelon further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of LogicMelon for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
18. LogicMelon reserves the right to change or cancel this Prize Draw at any time with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of LogicMelon in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. LogicMelon shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
20. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
